Lauren Mas and I'm an Usui Reiki Master/Teacher as well as a Karuna Reiki® practitioner, treating people and animals. I'M ON LEAVE THROUGH FEBRUARY!! 
In order to address some important personal "items" as we make our way into 2012, I have made the difficult (though right) decision to take a leave from Morning Sun Reiki, effective November 15 through February 2012.  I'm closed for remodeling! :)  Please check www.ConsciousCT.org for holistic health resources (and many amazing workshops, practitioners, businesses, etc.). Morning Sun Philosophy 
As we work towards wellness, we often become more aware of feelings of peace and contentment throughout the day.  I liken this to the time of stillness as the sun is rising in the morning - it holds such peace and hope as well as beauty. 

As we continue our healing journey we are able to notice more of the light in the world and within ourselves. This feeling of peace is our natural state.  We are not "deserving" or "undeserving" of this feeling. It exists within each of us naturally and we sometimes simply need to reconnect.

We are strong and resilient beings with innate healing
capabilities. Allowing ourselves to continually be healing on  
every level can set us free to enjoy the beauty of life.
These concepts are very simple and straightforward, as is
Reiki, which is why I am honored and humbled to work
with Reiki energy to promote wellness in all.
